This half day conference will provide practical guidance on the new Regulations, their impact and the obligations they impose on both agencies and employers.

The Agency Workers Regulations 2010, which implement the Agency Workers Directive, will give agency workers a right to equal treatment with their directly recruited counterparts, from October 2011.

There are estimated to be 1.3 million workers in the UK who are paid by agencies but work for the agencies’ clients or other end users. This will seriously impact employers who will now, amongst other things, have to ensure that pay, holiday and working hours are comparable, and that agency workers have access to vacancies and facilities
