Highlights
This course is designed to change physician competence and performance in practice in regards to
the diagnostic criteria for diagnosing fetal anomalies. As a result of the course participant evaluations
and community physician annual needs assessment surveys, the need for cutting edge information
about obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound including diagnosis of fetal chromosomal and genetic
abnormalities, emergency room pitfalls, CQI, the use of 3D and 4D ultrasound for diagnosis and new
surgeries for the fetus have been identified. Lectures will address a comprehensive, practical review
of obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound and the basic anatomy of the fetal face, brain, thorax and
limbs to change physician performance in areas identified in the need assessments, including section
of treatments for diagnose etiology of disease, and diagnose fetal anomalies.
This year’s conference will specifically address these indentified education needs and provide
practitioners with state-of-the-art tools to provide improve treatment options for their patients.
Faculty presenting and interacting with participants at this activity have been selected on the basis
of their comprehensive clinical experience and academic excellence.
