Highlights
Collateral management is a rapidly growing and increasingly crucial area. Collateral is very much in demand and new entities are getting involved in the process. There are questions hanging over the growing field of triparty collateral management involving the outsourcing of collateral movements and administrative aspects. Similarly the role of central counterparty clearing is set to have a massive impact in the industry. Another movement within collateral management is the growing attention to controlling operational risk, manifested, at least in part, by automation. Yet how are all of these innovations and issues linked back to the central purpose of collateral management: risk mitigation? For this 11th annual marcus evans conference we both pick up on the changes to the collateral landscape as well as return to the great debates within the field to offer practical solutions for meeting these challenges. Focusing on areas such as optimisation and automation as well as looking at key issues like CCPs and the dispute resolution protocol, we provide an important forum for industry professional s to discuss the issues which matter most at the current time, thereby providing valuable insight into possible solutions. This two and a half day event includes an exclusive half day interactive training session looking in detail at ISDA ® documentation.
