Discuss enhanced equity in education through cross sector understandings and partnerships at this year’s Social Inclusion in Education Summit. In the higher education sector, the Federal Government’s goal for 20 per cent of HE enrolments to come from low socio-economic status background’s, is still high on the agenda for 2020. In addition, $108 million has been set aside to facilitate Partnership Activities between universities, schools and vocational education and training providers, to assist in attracting low SES students into higher education.
