The global gas village has become a gateway for gas companies and their clients to discuss latest technologies, growing market trends and innovative gas strategies. The global gas village has a unique concept of using UGS as a market stimulant from which gas strategies are formulated and developed.
In spite of the current economic downturn, UGS players are highly optimistic about the future of UGS projects in Europe. Based on our 2009 Annual Questionnaire UGS have never been more optimistic than at the present time: all participants agreed that within their companies storage is viewed as a growth activity and UGS profitability is expected to rise. In nine years in which this survey has been conducted the response has never been more positive and forward looking.
Storengy will host a UGS tour of its Saint Illiers site.
