Highlights
The International Academic Forum in conjunction with its global partners is proud to announce the inaugural Asian Business and Management Conference, to be held from October 7-10 2010, at the Hotel New Otani in Osaka, Japan. >Why should you come? The world has been in economic and financial turmoil since late 2008, giving rise to significant pessimism together with adverse consequences for both businesses and, more broadly, national economies. Is the worst over - U, V or W curve? Too much government stimulus, or not enough? Too much financial regulation, or not enough? Is this the precursor to a change in the world economic order from West to East? What lessons have governments, regulators, and the business world learned? Each challenge gives rise to an opportunity. Under this theme, the Conference will bring together experts and leaders from the academic and business world to answer these questions and more; to both reflect on the recent past, and look forward, to exchange ideas, and share research findings. The Conference sessions will be wide-ranging, covering both policy and research. We invite you to join us in Osaka at ABMC in October 2010 to discuss and debate these and other related issues.
