Highlights
This educational activity is intended for surgeons in Gynecology, Urogynecology and Female Urology who are interested in furthering their understanding of female pelvic anatomy and and gaining surgical confidence through practical application of cadaveric dissections and vaginal surgery techniques. With the on-going development of new sling materials and support techniques, physicians are faced with a variety of options for dealing with the familiar problem of urinary stress incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for pelvic surgeons to evaluate, via comparison, the sling materials and reconstruction kits currently available on the US market.
