It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2010 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Theory (EMT-S) to be held in Berlin, Germany, on August 16 – 19, 2010. The conference venue will be the Berlin Steigenberger, a first-class hotel located at Los-Angeles-Platz nearby the Kurfürstendamm right in the middle of the German capital. Nearly all of the many attractions of Berlin can be reached within a few minutes. This triennial symposium is - next to the General Assemblies of U.R.S.I - the major scientific event of our International Commission B. The 2010 EMT-S comes as kind of an anniversary being the 20th in a series that started in 1953 in Toronto, Canada, with the most recent ones 2004 in Pisa, Italy, and 2007 in Ottawa, Canada. The decision for Berlin was made by the Commission B Business Meetings during the 2005 General Assembly in New Delhi, India, upon a bid that was carefully prepared by the German Commission B members. Based on their intensive collaboration and backed by the support of the Commission B Technical Advisory Board and Chairs of the National B Commissions we look forward to welcoming you to an exciting and successful symposium.
