The Banking, Finance and Insurance Expo will be held in March 2010 at Lugogo Main Exhibition Hall and will bring various constituents of Uganda’s banking, Finance and Insurance industry to display their ability and progress.

The Banking, Finance and Insurance Fair 2010 is scheduled to be a unique event to showcase recent developments in banking and insurance products, process management, logistics and distribution and delivery channels in the entire industry.

The Banking, Finance and insurance Expo are aimed at supporting SMEs access and exchange information from all financial players.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) need to have access to adequate information to enhance productivity and to facilitate market access. The establishment of an active SMEs sector and the effective utilization of quality business information have been identified as crucial in attaining long-term and sustainable economic growth for developing countries like Uganda.

The event will act as a forum for businesses in this sector to share experiences relating to a wide range of financial, insurance and investment activities and will offer the simplest method for businesses, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises in need of capital, to contact relevant credit establishments.

Apart from the open Exhibition of financial and insurance players, a powerful Business solutions forum has been organized with key speakers to discuss industrial progress and how the financial sector can help in development of the SME.
