Creative New Zealand has also approved funding towards the composition of a new work by Gao Ping, to be performed by the NZ Trio at the conference.
The deadline for calls for presentations (papers or workshops) is Sunday 1 March 2009. Submissions forwarded after 1 March will be placed on the Reserve List, and therefore placed into the programme is space is available. Notification of this placement may not occur till the start of June.
