Jakarta will host regional ASEAN’s comprehensive waste management event – INDO WASTE 2009 EXPO & FORUM at Jakarta Convention Center from 17 - 19 June 2009. It will showcase the latest technology and services for solid waste collection, recycling, disposal, waste-to-energy conversion.

This event will bring together over 8,000 buyers and delegates to examine the latest issues from curbside collection to hazardous waste disposal, from municipal recycling programs to modern landfill operations. Hosted by the Ministry of Environment and supported by the Department of Public Works, the Department of Industry, the Department of Trade, Association of Hazardous Waste Management in Indonesia (APLI), and Indonesian Exhibition Companies Association (IECA).
