Highlights
IGARSS 2009 will celebrate ten years of MODIS Earth observations, and five years of the GEOSS programme. On the technical side, special sessions on microsatellites will be organized.
In terms of African development, several sessions on applications will address disaster preparedness and response, global change and adaptation, good governance and role of RS in health.
