The NOCs are the new force of the future petroleum industry. Their new role will lead to changes in the way they operate, deal with their government, relate to international oil and gas companies and in the way they manage relationships with foreign governments and international institutions.

This course will look at the future of the NOCs: their external and internal challenges. It will address their needs for access to technology and management practices to deliver the energy the world needs, and take a close look at the corporate culture of the NOCs and how that will evolve in the years to come.
