Highlights
It is against this background that the East Africa Road and Rail Infrastructure Summit 2011 is being organized to provide another excellent platform to discuss the many challenges facing the road and rail infrastructure development in the region today, as well as to deliberate on major strategic issues across the transport infrastructure chain along which road and rail co-exist.
This event which comes on the heels of the inaugural and tremendously successful Africa Roads and Rail Infrastructure Summit 2010 in Rwanda will provide once more an excellent platform to network, source and evaluate state-of-the-art rail and road transport infrastructure technology, as well as secure excellent partnerships with providers of key services – including finance, railway design, road construction, operating expertise and technology and to address the crucial issues of infrastructure funding for optimized capacity.
